A shakey reputation and insanely high prices give us little reason to recommend Sacred Kratom.

Located in sunny Cerritos, CA, Sacred Kratom is a nationwide kratom distributor with years of business experience. 

The Sacred Kratom website carries many kratom powders, kratom capsules, and kratom extracts. Highlights of the collection include 50x Black Kratom Extract, Bentuangie Kratom, and UEI (Ultra Enhanced Indo).

The company has been around for more than four years, at which time its website has attracted a lot of attention. Much of this attention has been rather negative.

In April 2020, a customer filed a complaint against this vendor with the Better Business Bureau. In the filing, the customer accused  Sacred Kratom of taking their money and failing to answer repeated emails regarding a missing order.

This isn’t the only alleged occurrence of delivery issues either. As you’ll see, inconsistently may very well be Sacred Kratom’s most significant handicap.

This white vein kratom powder is excellent as a post-workout brew or a calm cup of tea before dealing with life’s daily stressors. White Borneo is invigorating without being intense and soothing without being sedating.

You can score an ounce of White Borneo for $11.99, two ounces for $21.99, four ounces for $40.99, eight ounces for $76.99, or a pound for $146.99.

Other Strains Offered by Sacred Kratom

Their product pages feature bestselling strains such as Green Bali, Red Borneo, and Super Green Malay. Other powders include Red Hulu Kapuas, Red Indo, Super Green Indo, and White Maeng Da.

Prices vary from strain to strain. For example, Super Green Malay starts at $11.99 for an ounce, while White Maeng Da begins at $14.99 for an ounce.

Kratom Capsules

Sacred Kratom offers several of its strains in capsule form. Encapsulated kratom is a viable alternative to the toss ‘n wash method. It enables users to enjoy the kratom tea experience without measuring out a dose of raw powder.

This vendor’s capsules include Bali, Borneo, and Maeng Da. 

Capsules start at $19.99 for an ounce, with four ounces selling for $69.99 and eight ounces going for $119.99.

Kratom Extracts

This brand’s ever-mushrooming line of kratom capsules and kratom extracts includes everything from 50x extract and UEI (Ultra Enhanced Indo) to Enhanced Bentuangie Kratom and Green Sumatra.

If you ask me, the only extract worthy of being mentioned is 50x Black Extract. This bracing powder has a crystallized texture and an incredible aroma. A microdose is enough to send your head reeling, and the duration is easily twice that of your usual plain leaf.

Is Sacred Kratom Legit?

After careful consideration, I have to warn consumers against this brand. 

Although my experience with Sacred Kratom has been mixed, there is little evidence to support its legitimacy. 

This vendor claims to test its products, but it fails to share testing results with the public.

More alarmingly, its shipments have a reputation for getting lost in the ether. The company is accused of ignoring complaints regarding such losses.

Furthermore, Sacred Kratom does not appear to be affiliated with the AKA (American Kratom Association), the BEA (Botanical Education Alliance), or any other kratom advocacy groups.

Add these problems to the incredibly high cost of the products, and it’s hard to justify spending money here.

What You Can Expect to Pay

As I mentioned earlier, prices vary widely from product to product. However, the average cost of one ounce of kratom powder is $15.99. Prices for one pound range from $143.99 to $191.99 — incredibly overpriced when you consider that the average price for a kilo (about two pounds) is $100-$150.

The best “deal” Sacred Kratom offers is its starting cost of $11.99 for White Borneo powder, along with its buying options for kratom extract. These align with smoke shop prices.

Unlike other vendors, such as Kratom Krates, this seller does not offer savings on bulk kratom orders. There are no kilo bundles, nor are there split kilo variety bundles.

If you’re on the fence about ordering from this vendor, you need only look as far as Reddit to see why you’d be better off trading a cow for magic beans.

One user wrote, “This guy from Sacred Kratom, James Sterling, has been promising me a refund for a couple of months and has just been playing me. Don’t use them as he/they are full of it. Guess I have to kiss my money goodbye. Product was never that good anyway, and they are simply thieves.”

Another user accused them of being part of the “high price bunch of online rip-offs. This person pointed out that Sacred Kratom’s prices are five times that of the then-current going price.

Shipping & Returns

You can choose between standard Priority Mail or a Priority Mail upgrade. In both cases, you should expect a longer than usual wait time. Due to current conditions at the post office, users have reported delays of as much as three weeks on shipments of all kinds.

That being said, Priority Express is the way to go if you need your order to arrive in a hurry.

Sacred Kratom’s return policy clearly states that they do not like to accept returns, but it does allow for select returns within fifteen days of their purchase. The site is explicit about the need for the item to be unopened and damaged by the company itself, which would be a hard fact to prove.

Final Thoughts: A Lackluster, Overpriced Brand With Poor Reviews

This is hardly a reputable vendor, nor is it an incredibly alluring one. Except for the strains I mentioned above, its products are nothing new or inspiring.

Pricing is far from reasonable and does not appear to match the freshness or consistency of its products.

Based on my experience, it would be unlikely that I would order from this brand again. 

Despite my enjoyment of the Green Sumatra and White Borneo, it is simply not worth the risk of losing money on something that may never arrive. Not when I can buy better kratom for a cheaper price from reputable vendors.
