Wade Paul is the founder and editor-in-chief at Kratom.org.
He first discovered kratom while traveling through Southeast Asia in his early 20s. While traveling around Chiang Mai, Thailand, Wade had an unfortunate incident on his scooter. He shattered both of his shin bones in the accident and spent a week in the hospital.
After the accident, damage to the nerves in his right leg was causing him considerable pain.
Rather than rely on prescription painkillers, Wade tried a herb a local doctor recommended instead. This herb was kratom.
The results he experienced in relieving his pain were incredible — “Why isn’t this stuff more common in America?”
Wade later formed kratom.org where he remains the editor-in-chief.
