Kratom Exchange Review: A New Look at an Old Favorite

Kratom Exchange has caught the attention of many people thanks to its low prices. The North Carolina dealer offers a good range of kratom powders, offers discounts on large orders, and gives away free samples.

While Kratom Exchange maintains competitive pricing, the company doesn’t test its products, and there appear to be very few user reviews. If you’re considering buying kratom from here, it’s best to do some homework first. This review will tell you everything you need to know about Kratom Exchange.

Kratom Exchange

2.5 / 5
Ranked 131 out of 190 vendors

Kratom Exchange has some of the best wholesale pricing. If customers are unsatisfied, the company can even send your order back as long as 90% of it is intact. However, the company needs to improve in many areas. Among them are its lack of transparency about its strains’ origins, lack of lab test reports, and lack of affiliation with the American Kratom Association. They don’t even have customer reviews to back them up.

About the Company: Kratom Exchange

Kratom Exchange was established by a man whose battle with anxiety and ADD led him to discover kratom. He claims that he overcame his anxiety issues after using the plant. A detailed history like this makes the company seem very relatable and trustworthy. With its wide selection of kratom products at or below cost, it’s not surprising it has attracted quite a bit of interest from kratom users.

But Kratom Exchange has its fair share of issues — the two main ones being a lack of product information and no lab test results, though it does say the kratom is tested.

Reputable sellers can guarantee their kratom is safe to consume by working with laboratories for testing. However, Kratom Exchange provides no independent laboratory testing data to support its claims. It doesn’t even mention that lab testing takes place. Additionally, you won’t find any certificates from AKA GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) Certification or other approvals from regulatory bodies.

The American Kratom Association (AKA) aims to make kratom safe by subjecting it to testing and strict standards. Kratom suppliers can voluntarily sign up for its GMP Standards Program and adhere to strict regulations for the preparation, labeling, and laboratory testing of their kratom products. Unfortunately, it does not appear that Kratom Exchange is associated with the AKA.

There is also a lack of transparency on the Kratom Exchange website. If you look at the products, you’ll see that there needs to be more information, like where or how the kratom is obtained and where it specifically originates from.

User reviews are helpful, but there’s not much talk on Reddit or other sites;  it’s hard to find user reviews of the company’s products outside of its website.

Pros
  • Money-back guarantee
  • Fast shipping
  •  Free samples for new users
  •  Wide variety of products
  •  Owners sound dedicated to kratom and their customers

Cons
  • Lack of AKA certification
  • Doesn’t post lab test results
  • Limited information about the source and processing

Kratom Exchange Product Reviews

Kratom Exchange offers a wide range of kratom powders, with about 27 products at the time of this writing. While it does offer all four strains — red, yellow, white, and green — there isn’t much information to go by. Let’s take a look at three of the company’s most reviewed products.

Super Green Kratom

Super Green Kratom is a Malaysian strain known to be a more potent version of Green Kratom. Green-vein kratom is the least processed form since it consists of nothing more than the dried leaves of the kratom tree. Super green strains have greater alkaloid concentrations.

It has a pleasant aroma, and many users have found it effective. The price starts at $9.99 per ounce (28 g), which is affordable enough, though other stores may sell it cheaper.

White Maeng Da

White Maeng Da is a fan-favorite among kratom users, and it appears to be a top seller on the Kratom Exchange website. Maeng Da means “Pimp Grade” in translation, which is appropriate given its potent effects. Only four consumers have reviewed it thus far, but the ones who have seem satisfied enough.

Super White Kratom Powder

Super White, originally from Thailand, is a more powerful and popular variant of White Maeng Da, one of the most well-known and widely used kratom strains. Super White is superior to regular white kratom powder because it has more alkaloids, starts working faster, and lasts longer.

Is Kratom Exchange Legit?

Kratom Exchange seems legit, but that doesn’t make it the best option. Despite having a few customers, Kratom Exchange’s website lacks several features that users have come to expect from a credible e-commerce store. Negative signs include the fact that there is no mention of lab tests to ensure quality and very little company information.

The site’s few redeeming features include its money-back guarantee, available customer support, and a few satisfied customers. The website also seems secure and has been around for a while, but that isn’t enough to prove that it’s worth shopping at.

Still, some people could be drawn in by Kratom Exchange’s affordable prices. Although the company’s website seems legitimate, customers should exercise caution. The lack of credentials, lab testing, and available information can raise a few red flags.

What You Can Expect to Pay

A single ounce (28 g) of kratom powder costs $9.99, and two ounces cost $17.99. These are comparable to other market prices. However, you can save a lot more once you start buying in bulk. A whole kilo is just $100, while 500 g goes for $75.

To compare, 500 g of White Maeng Da from Kona Kratom is $89.99, while at VIP Kratom, the price is $99.99. These websites charge more, but the fact that they are AKA-certified and go through lab testing could mean that the products these companies sell are safer and cleaner.

Accepted Payment Options

Kratom Exchange allows you to pay through e-Checks, Venmo, CashApp, or money orders.

What Other Customers Say About This Brand

The reviews on Kratom Exchange are primarily positive, praising the products for their purported benefits. Others have mentioned the company’s fast shipment. There were two complaints: One was regarding the consistency of the packaging, and the other was about the quality, namely that they couldn’t distinguish it from different strains. Other than that, the company is rarely talked about on social media or forums.

Shipping & Returns

Except for the sample pack, all orders at Kratom Exchange receive free standard shipping. Kratom Exchange’s shipping is quite fast with a free 2-3 day shipping guarantee for orders over $75, while all orders placed before 2 PM CST, Monday through Friday, get shipped within the same day.

Also, the company will take back products as long as 90% are still unused.

  • AKA certified
  • Fast shipping times

Final Thoughts: Affordable But Questionable

Although Kratom Exchange offers some extremely tempting discounts and deals, the absence of impartial third-party testing and AKA certification leaves much to be desired. There is also sometimes questionable information presented in its product descriptions.

Fortunately, there are many great alternatives if you’re searching for a kratom vendor who is more reliable and provides safer high-quality products.
