The Rise & Fall of Kratom Pro: A Review of a Failed Vendor

With no previous reviews and a non-existent Internet presence, Kratom Pro managed something few companies can: disappear into thin air.

Kratom has gained immense popularity in recent years due to its medicinal benefits, and this trend has rapidly risen. This massive demand for kratom became a tempting business opportunity for many, but joining the market is likely not as easy as it may seem.

Let’s explore the reasons why Kratom Pro and other vendors like them failed to establish their companies.

The kratom community is incredibly tight, with users constantly spreading information and looking out for each other.

People have been using kratom for decades, and users have solid opinions on which companies are the best. This is why new vendors struggle to make a name for themselves in the kratom market.

With so many vendor options, any new brand can only compete if they bring something unique to the table, which Kratom Pro didn’t.

The company had the most activity around 2009, when people in the West first started to learn about kratom. However, they went radio silent a year later, and there has been no news from the company since then. Their website no longer exists, and there is little information about the former business.

The lack of reviews and comments about Kratom Pro makes it challenging to determine why exactly this company failed. Still, the most likely scenario is that they failed to make themselves appealing to online customers, given their old website’s unintuitive design.

In this review, we will discuss the company’s background, the products it had to offer, and what made them vanish from the kratom market.

Best Alternative Kratom Vendors

Kratom Pro went out of business long ago, but you won’t miss out on much by not trying their products. The early kratom vendors were incredibly necessary and valuable to the user community, but modern vendors offer higher-quality products.

Pros:

  • Same-day and next-day shipping
  • High-quality products
  • Affordable prices
  • Money-back guarantees

Cons:

  • Lack of variety in strains

Was Kratom Pro Legit?

Kratom Pro is not the first kratom vendor to go out of business and won’t be the last. However, it is one of the few that disappeared without traces.

For other unsuccessful kratom companies, finding old customer reviews about the brand and its products is relatively simple. In most cases, these opinions exhibit why they went bankrupt in the first place, with the most common reasons being poor customer service and low quality.

This is not the case with Kratom Pro. This vendor was likely a one-person business with limited knowledge of marketing and logistics, as no old reviews are available on the Internet.

Even informal forums such as Reddit are devoid of any information about this company.

An old Facebook page shows more efforts in advocating for the legalization of kratom than in advertising, and they never seemed to be involved with the American Kratom Association (AKA).

Although it is hard to determine the legitness of this former vendor, the complete lack of reviews and no customer base do not inspire trust. If Kratom Pro were still in the market, we probably wouldn’t recommend them.

About the Company

There is next to no information about Kratom Pro’s background. The Kratom Pro website was launched in September 2008, offering the “finest premium wildcrafted kratom at affordable prices.” Still, the website went offline in 2010, and there has not been another since then.

Given the strong kratom advocacy on their old websites, the founder was most likely a kratom user. However, this person did not publish anything about themselves.

Since the website no longer exists, there is no way of knowing the company’s mission and objectives, but we can assume they tried to spread awareness. Old posts encourage users to learn about the plant and to fight for its legalization in all US states.

Kratom Pro Product Reviews

Kratom Pro did not have such an impressive strain variety as we are used to seeing nowadays on the market’s top vendors. Still, the company offered kratom powder, capsules, and crushed kratom leaves of Malaysian and Thai origin.

Strains receive specific names, allowing users to determine their effects more quickly. However, this nomenclature system was not as widely spread in the past. For this reason, Kratom Pro only advertised their products as “premium Malaysian kratom” in the past.

As years passed, the company started offering Thai kratom capsules and crushed kratom leaves.

The only specific strain that’s mentioned on the vendor’s old Twitter page is Green Malay, which is often referred to as a “super strain.” Medium doses of this strain can provide impressive stimulant effects and manage bodily pain and discomfort.

What You Would’ve Expected To Pay

Although we couldn’t find any information about the old prices, the company claimed to offer affordable premium kratom products.

Still, we can take an educated guess based on the price range of other vendors during that time. Kratom Pro was most likely commercializing their products at around $7 to $15, with powdered kratom being more expensive than crushed leaves.

Additionally, they offered kratom by the kilo, which is usually more cost-effective in the long run.

Final Thoughts: What Went Wrong With Kratom Pro

Although it is sad to learn that a company went out of business, there is always a reason for this. Kratom Pro’s downfall was its inability to insert itself into the kratom community and make the brand well-known amongst users.

Furthermore, the knowledge about kratom has increased tremendously since it first arrived in the Western world. Kratom Pro would have quickly fallen behind due to its lack of lab tests, variety of products, and confusing labeling.

We can take a moment to be glad about vendors like VIP Kratom, Star Kratom, and Kona Kratom, which provide safe and effective products alongside excellent customer service.
