Sakti Botanicals Vendor Review: A Unique Approach to Kratom

Sakti Botanicals is a somewhat unique kratom company that has taken the generally accepted idea that there are many different types (strains) of kratom and flipped it on its head.

Instead, it insists that there are only three strains, all from the same tree, and the only difference between them is the drying process. As such, Sakti only offers three strains. Regardless, there are many positives about this company, with a few negatives.

Below, you’ll read a full vendor review for Sakti Botanicals to help you decide if it’s the right vendor for you.

About the Company

Sakti Botanicals is a relative newcomer to the kratom industry, formed in 2020 by Silas W. Curry. Silas is the current owner, although there is no information available about him or his past experience with kratom or other botanicals. This isn’t always a red flag, but it can make some customers feel uncomfortable buying from Sakti.

Sakti doesn’t have much in the way of a formal mission statement to establish brand identity, but it does discuss the company values and some worthy goals. The values include a commitment to sustainable harvesting practices, which includes only sourcing wild kratom that hasn’t been treated with pesticides or overgrown.

Sakti is also committed to maintaining natural rainforests for the benefit of the animals that inhabit them, especially orangutans, which have been driven out of their homes by deforestation. Sakti supports eco-friendly kratom sourcing in an effort to reduce the environmental impact.

This company has only three strains available, and each product comes with QR code for lab results. The lab results for older batches are available online and reveal that the tests didn’t determine potency. However, the new tests reportedly do, and the alkaloid content is posted on each product page.

Pros

  • Lab results available
  • Affordable
  • Supports sustainable sourcing
Cons
  • Not AKA certified
  • Only carries three strains
  • Only has powders
  • No returns
  • No information about the owners or the company

Sakti Botanicals Product Reviews

Sakti specializes in kratom and only sells pure kratom powder. It has three strains available, none of which are available in capsule form, extracts, tinctures, or other delivery methods.

Sakti maintains that its three strains are the only true kratom strains and is committed to ditching what it calls the “marketing tactic” of telling customers there are many strains, all with varying effects.

Kratom Leaf Powder

Kratom powder is made by harvesting the leaves of the kratom tree, drying them, fermenting them (not always the case), and crushing them into a fine powder. Kratom powder allows users to get specific doses, and it remains potent for long periods. Unfortunately, most people don’t like the taste of kratom and cannot avoid it with powder.

Sakti Botanicals Green Maeng Da Kratom

Green Maeng Da is usually listed as the most popular green kratom strain, so it’s no surprise that Sakti has listed this as one of its only three options.

The alkaloid content is included right on the product page, and the actual product has a QR code you can scan to verify purity and safety via third-party lab results.

This strain is reasonably priced and comes in sizes ranging from 28 grams to 1,000 grams. It’s most often used for a mild boost to energy and focus, anxiety relief, mild euphoria, and pain relief.

Price: $5.00 for 28 grams, $15.00 for 112 grams, $28.00 for 250 grams, $50.00 for 500 grams, or $89.00 for 1,000 grams/1 kilogram

Sakti Botanicals White Borneo Kratom

White Borneo kratom is used by many people for intense stimulation and nootropic effects, including increased focus and concentration.

This strain from Sakti has the alkaloid content posted on the product page for verification, and the package includes a QR code for customers to check the third-party lab results. White Borneo is known for its high potency, and at the time of writing, Sakti notes that the powder has a mitragynine content of 1.73% — considered quite high in the kratom industry.

Price: $5.00 for 28 grams, $15.00 for 112 grams, $28.00 for 250 grams, $50.00 for 500 grams, or $89.00 for 1,000 grams/1 kilogram

Sakti Botanicals Red Borneo Kratom

Red Borneo kratom is a favorite among users who are looking for pain relief, anxiety relief, and sedation as a treatment for insomnia or restlessness.

While each batch will vary in alkaloid content, this strain at the time of writing has a mitragynine content of 0.94% and a 7-hydroxymitragynine content of 0.05%; both are considered high. This strain comes in a variety of sizes to appeal to those looking to test it out or stock up.

Price: $5.00 for 28 grams, $15.00 for 112 grams, $28.00 for 250 grams, $50.00 for 500 grams, or $89.00 for 1,000 grams/1 kilogram

Is Sakti Botanicals Legit?

Sakti Botanicals is a legitimate and generally good source for kratom online.

The company includes alkaloid content for each product it sells and a QR code on the packaging for customers to access the third-party lab results. These test results can be used to verify the purity, safety, and potency of the powder. It would be more helpful if the results were posted online, but it’s still a good sign that they are available.

Sakti isn’t approved by the American Kratom Association (AKA), but the availability of lab results should be enough for most customers to confirm the validity of the product.

Sakti has an unusual marketing strategy that involves only offering three strains instead of the dozens that other vendors provide. Its explanation for this is clear and states that the company believes that all strains are the same, and the drying process is the only thing that leads to different “strains.” This is largely considered inaccurate, but Sakti is at least upfront and transparent about its reasoning.

Sakti also maintains a large number of positive reviews online, even in generally open and honest forums like Reddit.

The only real downside to Sakti, other than its limited strain variety, is that there is no return policy for opened and tested items. You could argue that the lab results should verify anything you need to know before opening, but the reassurance of a better return and refund policy would go a long way for this company.

What You Can Expect To Pay

Sakti somehow maintains exceptionally low pricing despite putting its products through rigorous third-party testing. If you’re looking for quality kratom at an affordable price and don’t mind compromising a bit on customer service, Sakti might be ideal for you.

Sakti only sells three kratom powders, all of which are priced the same.

You can expect some minor savings on larger quantities in accordance with the pricing model below:

  • $5.00 for 28 grams
  • $15.00 for 112 grams
  • $28.00 for 250 grams
  • $50.00 for 500 grams
  • $89.00 for 1,000 grams/1 kilogram

One of Sakti’s best offers is a free sample pack, for which you’ll just need to pay $5 in shipping. The pack comes with 28 grams of its red-vein kratom, 28 grams of its green-vein kratom, and 28 grams of its white-vein kratom. This deal is available only for first-time customers, but it’s an excellent value even for just one time.

Sakti also has an “on sale” section where it lists older product that comes at a discount. This section is hit or miss and sometimes doesn’t have any products in it. However, it’s still worth checking before checking out.

Accepted Payment Options

Sakti doesn’t accept credit cards or debit cards, which instantly turns some customers away. You can pay with Zelle, a payment service offered through most major banks, Cash App, cash-on-delivery, or Bitcoin.

If you choose to pay cash-on-delivery, your order is subject to a $20 delivery fee.

If you’re looking for discreet and secure order processing, you can opt to pay with Bitcoin by sending money via any cryptocurrency wallet. You can buy Bitcoin through payment services like PayPal and Venmo or on crypto exchanges like Coinbase and Kucoin. You can enjoy a 20% discount on your entire order when paying with Bitcoin.

What Other Customers Say About This Brand

Countless kratom users turn to largely unbiased reviews on Reddit for advice on kratom vendors, strains, and experiences. Luckily, there are many reviews on Reddit for Sakti Botanicals, so you’ll have no shortage of user experiences to draw from.

A handful of the reviews state that the powder received from Sakti didn’t provide much in the way of the desired effects, but most note that the powder was adequately potent. It’s unclear why there are conflicting reports, but it could be lower alkaloid content in a given batch.

The general consensus is that Sakti is a reputable brand that delivers transparency of potency and safety with its lab results, consistency in its products, and decent customer service.

Shipping & Returns

Sakti Botanicals offers three shipping options that vary in price depending on your location. USPS Priority Shipping is usually the most affordable and takes between two and three days, on average. Cash on delivery (COD) is the next most affordable at a flat rate of $20. Finally, USPS Priority Express Shipping takes one to two days — usually just one — but is the most expensive option in most cases.

Sakti only delivers to addresses within the United States, and it doesn’t ship to areas where kratom is illegal.

Sakti accepts returns within 30 days, but only for products that haven’t been opened. The industry standard is to accept opened products for at least a partial refund, but Sakti’s third-party lab results could be enough to verify if you’ll enjoy a product even before opening it. Still, it would be nice to see a more lenient refund policy and better customer service, plus a satisfaction guarantee to instill maximum buyer confidence.

Best Alternative Kratom Vendors

While Sakti might suffice for some kratom users, others want even more assurance that their money is being spent on quality and that they have the option to send the product back if they’re dissatisfied.

Below are three alternative kratom vendors that offer high-quality kratom but with a 100% customer satisfaction guarantee.

1. Star Kratom

Star Kratom is best known in the kratom industry for its unmatched shipping speeds, usually getting packages to customers within a day or two.

Star Kratom provides access to third-party lab results on its website, which is a bit more convenient than having them available on the product packaging.

The strain selection is limited but still more extensive than Sakti Botanicals, and they come in powder and capsule form. The prices are very affordable, and Star offers a 100% customer satisfaction guarantee.

Pros & Cons:

  • ✅ Fastest shipping speeds in the industry
  • ✅ Third-party lab results available online
  • ✅ Affordable
  • ✅ Powders and capsules available
  • ✅ 100% customer satisfaction guarantee

Kona Kratom offers what many users consider the perfect blend between quality and affordability. The powders are premium but still come at an affordable price.

The shipping could be a bit faster, but most users are fine with waiting a few days, given the quality. Kona’s customer service is unmatched, and the company stands behind its powders and capsules with a money-back satisfaction guarantee.

VIP Kratom

4.85 / 5
Ranked 4 out of 190 vendors

VIP Kratom is a popular vendor for users looking for the highest quality possible.

VIP stops at nothing to provide premium kratom powders and capsules with unmatched quality. The third-party lab results available online are just one sign of the company’s obsession with perfection.

Customer service is top-notch, and all products come with a satisfaction guarantee. The selection is nicely varied, and the only potential downside to VIP is that the shipping times are a bit slower than some competitors.

Pros & Cons:

  • ✅ Remarkable quality
  • ✅ Powders and capsules available
  • ✅ Fast shipping
  • ✅ Third-party test results available for all products
  • ✅ Excellent customer services
  • ✅ Satisfaction guarantee

Final Thoughts: A Generally Positive Kratom Vendor With Some Minor Flaws

Overall, Sakti Botanicals is a good place to buy kratom online. Although the company isn’t accredited by the American Kratom Association (AKA), it provides a QR code on all of its packages for the third-party lab results.

The test results confirm potency, contaminant levels, and general safety to provide peace of mind. It would be more helpful if the results were available online, but it’s still a positive thing that they’re available at all.

Sakti is a young company but has already shown the kratom industry that it has worthwhile goals. It stands behind ethical and sustainable kratom harvesting by only sourcing wild-grown kratom and using practices that limit the destruction of animals’ natural habitats in the process.

Sakti has an obscure marketing strategy that involves only offering three strains: one red, one white, and one green. It explains that there is no difference between kratom leaves from different origins, so these three strains are all anyone needs. While this is considered inaccurate, the company is at least transparent about its marketing. Additionally, the company doesn’t offer kratom capsules or other more convenient delivery methods.

Sakti’s return policy and customer service could be a bit better, but for the low price and for kratom that includes third-party lab results, the price cannot be beaten.

If you’re looking to give Sakti Botanicals a try, the top-recommended products are the Green Maeng Da kratom powder and the Red Borneo kratom powder.
