On their website, Soulful Herbals takes a strong stance against big pharma, or the traditional medical approach towards the treatment and management of health conditions. While kratom has not been proven as an alternative to medication concerning any health concern, Matricardi’s Soulful Herbals strongly opposes traditional medicine, and presents kratom as a substitute that provides better results with fewer to no long-term risks.

It’s important to point out that none of these statements have been assessed or approved by the FDA or any other relevant authorities.
Perhaps the most glaring red flag about Soulful Herbals is that in this day and age, they still aren’t AKA-GMP certified. They also have unique options like kratom extract + apple cider vinegar, super 810 kratom extract with an alleged 70% mitragynine content at 13.5mg/mL, and the amber full spectrum liquid kratom extract with 10mg/mL of Mitragynine.

Soulful Herbals offers a 30-day 100% satisfaction guarantee for all of their products. What gives them an edge over other kratom vendors is that they don’t seem to put a cap on how much product should be left in the package for it to qualify for a refund.
According to their policy, buyers can send back the unused portion of their purchase within 14 days of receiving it to qualify for a refund, however that does contradict with their supposed 30-day returns window. They do not indicate how much of the product needs to be unused for a refund to be accepted.

There is very little consumer-generated information about Soulful Herbals online. Even on Reddit, most of the threads that talk about Soulful Herbals are limited to the window of time between 2020 and 2023, after which they don’t seem to get a lot of mentions on the website.
While the majority of the few discussions paint Soulful Herbals in a good light, there are a few scathing reviews littered here and there. One user claimed that the brand shipped a batch that seemed darker than usual and came with a strange smell. The user said that the batch also did not produce any noticeable effect upon use.

Unfortunately, we can’t glaze over the lack of AKA-GMP compliance. These days, it feels like GMP certification is bare minimum, and brands that don’t comply with industry standards inevitably raise a brow.
Nevertheless, if you’re looking for a new vendor to try, Soulful Herbals might have something for you. But don’t forget to practice caution and due diligence when purchasing kratom from any vendor for the first time, and don’t hesitate to return and refund a product that falls short of expectations.
