Most kratom strains are classified depending on the color of the leaf veins — which can be either dark green, red, or white. The color of the veins is a reliable indicator for what qualities and effects a particular strain of kratom may have.
Yellow vein kratom is a little bit different.
In this guide, we’ll cover everything you need to know about the yellow vein strains, what makes them unique, and provide an all-inclusive list of the yellow vein strains available on the market today.
What is Yellow Vein Kratom?
Yellow vein kratom is not considered one of the three main types of kratom. These strains are more of a blend of the other kratom leaf veins — which fall under green, red, or white veins depending on the effect profiles and (sometimes) the physical color of the veins on the leaves and leaf-stems.
Yellow kratom is usually made from red vein kratom, which is fermented for a shorter period of time. Once the fermentation process is complete, the leaves are dried, powderized, and mixed with some white vein leaf powder.
These strains are most similar to the green vein varieties in terms of effects — but with a slightly stonger propensity for being stimulating and energy-boosting.
