Christopher’s Organic Botanicals
Not only does Christopher’s Organic Botanicals wallop most of the competition in terms of transparency, customer service, and innovation, but they also remain humble and dedicated to their customers.
Lab test results are not hidden or only available upon request: there’s an entire page dedicated to a huge table of their test results. Christopher’s own experiences with kratom, both good and bad, are shared openly with customers.
I felt like I was building a relationship with Christopher himself rather than being barked at by a brand name that just wanted me to buy from them. Combined with top-notch quality, this makes shopping at Christopher’s a true pleasure.
About the Company
Christopher’s Botanicals is unique in several different ways. One of the first things that stand out is their frequent praise of the Lord — something not very often seen in the same context as kratom.
Furthermore, the company has some unexplained eccentricities. For example, their “About Us” page dedicates a sizable amount of space to recommending the “Hyperlocal Salem County and South Jersey 24-hour Weather Channel, run by Nor’easter Nick Pittman!”
Aside from that, everything else is relatively normal. A bit better than normal, actually. Christopher’s Botanicals is a high-quality site that focuses on providing fair trade goods at an affordable price and ensuring that people without windows never worry about what the weather is doing.
You can tell that they’re genuinely interested in helping people maintain their overall health instead of just making a buck. This sets them above many of the other vendors in the kratom marketplace.
Lastly, their tagline of “God bless kratom,” coupled with their other phrase, “Plants, not pills!” gives you a pretty accurate description of who these guys are without having to sift through piles of “Our kratom’s the best!” to see the people behind the shop.

Christopher’s Organic Botanicals Product Reviews
There are quite a few products available at Christopher’s Organic Botanicals. We won’t be able to detail all of the different products, but we should be able to provide an overview of everything they’ve got to offer.
Kratom Leaf Powder
Kratom leaf powder, or “powdered tea leaf,” as the folks here call it, is the most common way you’ll find kratom sold. And Christopher’s Botanicals doesn’t come up short when offering various powders.
The site refers to the different kinds as phenotypes rather than strains, but here are a few of their top options.
Christopher’s Organic Botanicals Red Agatha
Agatha kratom is a type of kratom named after a group of farmers in Indonesia. The Agatha farmers work together to create a unique sort of kratom that produces consistently stronger effects.
Christopher’s Botanicals is so sure of its approach and products that they spend extra to ensure a regular supply. Somehow, they manage to sell the stuff without hiking the price up.
Typically, Agatha strains are the same price as the rest of their strains: $17 for 2oz and $70 for a pound (16 oz).
Christopher’s Organic Botanicals Green Riau
All the Riau phenotypes are fantastic (with a price tag to match it, starting at $17.00 for 2 ounces up to $70.00 for 16), but if we must pick one, it’ll be green. Green Riau showcases the powerful effects of the kratom plant, producing sustained energy with reliable relief.
Tested to contain 1.2% mitragynine, <=0.04% 7-OH-mitragynine, 0.2% speciogynine, and 0.3% paynantheine, Green Riau is, if nothing else, a testament to Christopher’s Organics and their rigorous testing.
Christopher’s Organic Botanicals White Mahakam
If you’re feeling adventurous and looking to try new strains, in addition to offering Red Agatha, Christopher’s also has White Mahakam Kratom.
Hailing from the Mahakam region of Indonesia, where seemingly very little kratom comes from, White Mahakam packs a predictably white punch.
The description offered by Christopher’s Botanicals highlights one of the reasons that this vendor is so fantastic. Rather than trying to sell the kratom by twisting together new combinations of adjectives like “intense” and “powerful,” they have instead described the history and geography of the region that produces it.
The Mahakam River, they note, is roughly the same latitude as the equator and flows through the city of Samarinda. The city is known for celebrating the Erau festival, where they express gratitude for natural herbs and medicines.
In my opinion, this is a much more exciting selling point than hearing about a new strain that’s x times stronger and y times rarer.
Other Strains Offered by Christopher’s Organic Botanicals
There are a lot of other strains available. Surprisingly a fair number of them are unique. Though they may not be exclusive to Christopher’s Botanicals, this site has many uncommon phenotypes.

- Maeng Da
- Borneo
- Vietnam
- Bali
- Mahakam
- Indo
- Riau
Yellow Kratom:
- Vietnam
- Maeng Da
Green Kratom:

Kratom Capsules
Kratom capsules are a popular option among kratom users, providing an alternative to the dreaded “toss-and-wash,” the iron-fisted and notoriously unpleasant method for consuming kratom quickly.
Though the toss-and-wash often leaves those who use kratom unmarred to ward off a more severe addiction, other users have found its unpleasantness to be such that it acts as a barrier against the usage of kratom entirely. For these folks, capsules are a godsend.
Capsules, however, require additional time and effort to prepare. As such, they are generally more expensive than raw powder. At Christopher’s Organics, this is no exception, although they are much more affordable than the capsules offered by some other companies.
At the time of writing, they offer four different capsule varieties.
- Red Thai Capsules (tested at 0.5% mitragynine, <=0.04% 7-OH-mitragynine, 0.1% speciogynine and paynantheine)
- Green Borneo Capsules (tested at 1.4% mitragynine, <=0.4% 7-OH-mitragynine, 0.2% speciogynine, 0.3% paynantheine)
- White Maeng Da Capsules (tested at 1.3% mitragynine, <=0.04% 7-OH-mitragynine, 0.2% speciogynine, 0.3% paynantheine)
- Red Maeng Da Capsules (tested at 1.3% mitragynine, <=0.04% 7-OH-mitragynine, 0.2% speciogynine, 0.3% paynantheine)
As a side note: Comparing these test results provides some interesting input. If the alkaloid content were the only thing influencing the effects, one would expect the Red Thai capsules to pale compared to the other three. However, reviews and Christopher’s input suggest that they are comparably strong.
Kratom Extracts
Kratom extracts are a form of highly concentrated kratom alkaloids. Extracts can come in various forms: some are powders infused with pure alkaloid extracts; others are liquid solutions containing high quantities of alkaloids.
In the case of Christopher’s Organic Botanicals, the extracts are to be mixed in with a liquid. There are two brands that they offer:
Kratomade
Despite being advertised with names like “Fresh Squeezed Lemonade,” Kratomade is certainly a powder. The directions say to add a cup of cold water (250 ml) to half a sachet of Kratomade powder. This beverage contains 50 mg of mitragynine, equivalent to about 4 g of kratom.
Kratomade is produced using K-Lab technology to help facilitate alkaloid solubility in water. Additionally, the company spent a significant amount of time engineering flavors that would have a more substantial influence than the highly bitter taste of kratom itself.
From the company’s own website, their goal was to help ensure that “kratom finally tastes as good as it feels.”
The following flavors are available through Christopher’s Organics:
- Fresh Squeeze Lemonade
- Peachy King Baby
- Tropical Guava Mama
- Enter the Dragon Fruit
- Cherry Pomegranate
- Mama’s Lemon Pie
- Iced Tea Lemon Spritz
- Wild Mountain Blueberry
- Wild Acai Berry
Each usually costs $11.99.
MitraRush
MitraRush promises that it will help people “Go Beyond Your Limits.” This plant-powered energy extract is mixed into water, though they don’t specify the exact amount. Dilute to taste, I suppose.
Each unit contains 50 mg of “plant-powered energy and a tangy, pink citrus punch.” We’ll assume that the 50 mg refers solely to the mitragynine content.
These cost $8.50 per single-serving pouch.
Other Kratom Products
There are a couple more kratom products that we can’t forget to list here.
Kratom Tea
Christopher’s Organic Botanicals sells kratom packaged in tea bags. The three Maeng Da varieties (white, red, and green) are available to purchase in packages containing 20 tea bags each.
Each tea bag contains 4 g of green crushed leaf kratom, thus totaling 80 g per package. Each package is $30.
Kratom tea bags are a great way to create great-tasting kratom drinks by infusing other herbs alongside the crushed leaf. However, if you want to get creative, you’re best off getting crushed leaf, leading us into our last product.
Crushed Leaf Kratom
Crushed kratom leaf is one of the best ways to consume kratom. Unfortunately, very few people are aware of the possibility of using kratom this way and struggle to maximize the efficacy of crushed leaf kratom.
Oddly enough, the way to maximize the benefit of crushed-leaf kratom is to use a tool designed initially in South America to consume loose-leaf yerba matè. The device is basically a straw with only one end open. The other end, which remains shut, is poked through with tiny holes.
A bombilla effectively filters out tea leaves and allows you to drink the infused water (tea). These work incredibly well with crushed leaf kratom and let you enjoy relatively large doses without nausea often associated with consuming high amounts of powder.
You can purchase either white, red, or green crushed-leaf kratom from Christopher’s Botanicals. They’re all $40 for a 9-ounce package.
Brewing strong crushed leaf infusions can taste just as unpleasant as a toss-and-wash (although the texture is more palatable). Thus, you’ll probably want to have some fun developing your tea blends.
Mixing sweet or aromatic herbs with kratom can help combat the flavor. A small amount of lavender mixed with some licorice root and cardamom will create a rich and soothing balance. Once infused, top it off with something creamy, and you’ll be in for a treat.
Soap
There’s a good selection of herbal soaps available — a few with kratom, many without.
We’re unsure how or why anybody would be possessed with the idea of making kratom soap. Kratom is horrendously astringent, as anybody who has mistakenly allowed the powdered leaf to touch their tongue will attest to it.
At best, lathering your body with kratom soap would tighten and tone the skin. After all, that’s what astringents are for. But there are much less potent and potentially dehydrating and damaging astringents to choose from.
Here are the types of soap you can buy at Christopher’s.
- Coffee Orange
- Grave Robbers’ Plague
- Lavender Peppermint
- Lavender Tea Tree
- Lemon Eucalyptus
- Orange Frankincense
- Patchouli Orange Charcoal
- Peppermint Neem
Miscellaneous
Christopher’s Organics offers a whole arsenal of other herbal products. From herbal tinctures, teas, and capsules to vendor merch, you can supply your medicine cabinet and your wardrobe here.
We won’t go into detail about all of their product offerings due to the risk of saturating the review with non-kratom-related information.
Is Christopher’s Organic Botanicals Legit?
Absolutely! Christopher’s Organic Botanicals is one of the more legit kratom companies you can find nowadays. In addition to their qualifications (they’re certified by the American Kratom Association), they have nothing but positive reviews online.
Christopher’s Organic Botanicals has also been a member of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce since 2020, which sets them above most other kratom vendors.
The whole company is more transparent than a freshly-shined window. Test results on each product are available. If you don’t trust the numbers on the product pages, check out their lab test page, which is the most comprehensive I’ve ever seen.
Many companies offer a lab test here or there or allow you to view their big table of test results upon special request. Christopher’s Botanicals has all their test results pasted on their website and updates them frequently (at the time of this writing, new tests had been uploaded just 14 days prior).
These test results also call into question the way we look at kratom alkaloids, although this is a topic for another day. However, the product with the highest 7-hydroxymitragynine (commonly understood as the most sedating alkaloid) is their White Mahakam kratom at 0.189%. The second highest is Red Vietnam, at 0.165%.
On top of uploading its test results, the company goes yet another step further by using three separate laboratories in addition to its in-house testing.
Some people have called into question Sante Labs, one of the places that test Christopher’s kratom. However, the company’s kratom is also sent to Analytical Resource Laboratories and Cora Science. In-house testing is done with PhytoLab.
The site’s blog provides plenty of information about kratom and behind-the-scenes details about Christopher himself and the company’s operation. They update customers regarding pricing changes, test results, recipes, and changes in production.
Throughout the site, there is only a strong feeling of authenticity and a desire to help others. The site is humble and yet more thorough and insightful than most others.
What You Can Expect To Pay
You should note that almost everything on the site (aside from a few strains of kratom powder and their kratom soap) is listed as being on sale. This is a classic marketing ploy employed in the hopes that people will make a selection and purchase before realizing that their products are all priced at a reasonable rate.
Considering this website’s authenticity, I think Christopher tends to put products on sale as soon as he receives the test results for a newer batch. Doing this helps to clear out products before they become stale and keeps customers constantly receiving the best value.
Prices are fair, considering the quality of customer service and transparency you’re receiving. But they are a bit higher than average.
That said, you get 10% of your purchase price retained on your account, which you can use to reduce the cost of future orders. You’ll also get free shipping on any order over $20.
Every $10 you spend gets you a point. The site describes this by saying, “Each kilo you spend $120 on will earn you 12 points, or $12.00 off, so that a kilo really only costs you $108.00.”
Purchasing kratom by the pound (70 oz) will be $70.00 (or $63.00 if you cash in your points.
Besides the regular sale items, there are also flash sale products. These products are, without a doubt, much cheaper than usual. They are only available in specific sizes or phenotypes due to limited availability.
You can also order kratom by kilogram, but this is done through a separate section of the website; you can’t simply choose a kilogram on the product page as you do for a couple of ounces.
You can order single phenotype (one-strain) kilograms or split phenotype kilograms (four different strains, 9 oz each). Single phenotype kilos are $100 to $120; split phenotypes can cost up to $125.

Accepted Payment Options
Christopher’s Botanicals doesn’t drop the ball in this area, either. Not only do they accept major credit cards, but they also take numerous types of crypto.
- Bitcoin
- Etherium
- Litecoin
- Dogecoin
- Shiba Inu
Despite the latter two coins originally being developed as jokes, their described use case — providing a “crypto for the people” — seems to be working.
If you’re not down to using crypto or a credit card, you can also pay with a GreenPay eCheck or a personal check/money order.
If you’re not sure how to use bitcoin or any other cryptocurrencies, it’s not complicated. Check out our article on how to buy kratom with bitcoin. This info applies relatively easily to any other type of crypto.
Christopher’s Organic Botanicals Coupon Codes
Although they repeatedly state throughout the website that the points system has replaced the need for coupons, the FAQ page still offers two coupons, including
- “firsttime” which offers 15% off your first order
- “ilovekratom” which offers 10% off an order
They say neither of these coupons expires and are an excellent option for people new to kratom and interested in trying it for the first time.
Also, if you’re struggling to pay the bills and need kratom, reach out to them. Customers will donate their points to help others in need.
What Other Customers Say About This Brand
For the most part, customers have nothing but great things to say about Christopher’s Botanicals. No matter where you go, people revere the business and its owner.
One Reddit user, u/Citizen9512, begins his post by ensuring people he’s “not being a Shilliam Shatner” (he’s not promoting, or ‘shilling,’ the site to reap benefits) but legitimately wanted to let people know how great the company’s quality was when he found an old package of their kratom in his cupboard.
The user further complemented Christopher in his “Christopher’s Mix” pack. He said he received it as a sample to test out the different types of kratom.
u/Freebird143 made a post entitled “Very pleased with ChristophersOrganicBotanicals,” which speaks for itself. “This vendor rocks the kratom castle in every which way.” He comments on perks like free shipping, high potency, and free sample packs.
Christopher’s Organic Botanicals holds an impressive five stars after 37 reviews on RestaurantJump, even though it’s supposed to cater to restaurants.
“Always 100% excellence,” says one reviewer.
“My experience with COB was a complete pleasure.”
Comparing them to another vendor, “[Christopher’s] was like night and day,” thanks to how much more effective of an overall business experience they provide.
Shipping & Returns
Although we’ve come quite a long way, Christopher’s Botanicals is still not allowing exchanges on any products due to the COVID-19 pandemic. However, they do accept returns on unopened products within 14 days.
As mentioned, they offer free shipping on orders of $20.00 or more and an apology for not being able to offer free shipping on smaller orders.
However, on their FAQ page, they seem to contradict themselves only a few bullets down from their previous statement:
“We offer FREE SHIPPING for ALL orders for the FIRST ATTEMPT TO SHIP!”
We have not concluded why they would offer free shipping on everything and provide free shipping on orders of $20 or more.

Final Thoughts: The Best Of the Best
Vendors can’t really get much better than this. Christopher’s Organic Botanicals nails everything required to be considered a high-quality vendor and then sets the bar several notches higher by adding several personal touches.
Prices are consistent with the quality of the kratom, but Christopher often includes free samples with orders, and the free shipping offsets the cost. Plus, you’re paying for quality, anyways, so altogether you’re getting way more value for your dollar.
On top of all this, Christopher remains humble throughout his dealings and on all the website pages.
We have a hero in the industry here, and we hope Christopher’s Organic Botanicals continues to succeed!
If you want other options, Kona Kratom, Star Kratom, and VIP Kratom are other top-notch vendors that are hard to beat.
