About the Company

Get Kratom is a Pennsylvania kratom brand with a long and storied history. The company was founded by Kevin Fischer and Josh Hill, a health researcher and a marketing specialist, respectively, with backgrounds in industrial engineering and molecular biology.

Their simple home-based business was an early success, paving the way for the introduction of their online store. Getkratom.com went live in 2010. The site was embraced by the first wave of domestic kratom enthusiasts.

Over the next five years, it would seem that the owners’ quality standards dropped significantly.

Reddit users lamented the diminished potency of GetKratom, using the famed platform to express their disappointment with the brand’s lack of quality.

One user talked about how their products had rapidly declined, noting the wide range of strains they’ve tried and how some had done nothing.

Much consternation surrounded the fact that GetKratom’s owners were running their subreddit. One user accused them of ruthlessly policing other vendors’ reviews and using shill accounts to benefit their own brand.

Luckily for those who demand excellence from vendors, GetKratom continued to grow. They listened to the complaints lobbed at them by disappointed customers and sought to improve. In no time at all, their potency and purity were back up.

Get Kratom Product Reviews

Get Kratom has a limited selection of strains and only carries kratom powders and extracts. It does sell empty 00 and 000 capsules for customers to make their kratom capsules, but it doesn’t sell pre-filled caps.

Best Kratom Powders

Kratom powder is the most popular way to consume kratom. It’s made from ground-up leaves from the Mitragyna speciosa tree. The loose powder makes it straightforward to get accurate doses consistently, but many users detest the bitter and unpleasant taste of the raw powder. As such, some people choose to pay more for other delivery methods, despite powder being the most affordable.

Get Kratom Green Kali Kratom Powder

Hailing from the rainforests of West Kalimantan, this one-of-a-kind green powder is the perfect marriage of “fast” and “slow” kratom for many users. This strain makes for an elevated and exhilarating good time.

At moderate dosages, Green Vein Kali is mildly animating and incredibly stimulating. This is definitely not one to binge on if you’re a beginner.

If you’re grappling with aches on a rainy day or looking to chase the blues away, you may find solace in slightly larger doses of this refreshing strain.

Price: $9.00 for 28 grams, $18.00 for 56 grams, $36.00 for 112 grams, $72.00 for 224 grams, or $144.00 for 448 grams

Get Kratom Red Indo Kratom Powder

Red Indo is a popular option among kratom users looking for pain relief and sedation. This strain has unusually high levels of 7-hydroxymitragynine, the alkaloid responsible for kratom’s analgesic and relaxing effects. Many users have found this strain ideal for relaxing after a long day, relieving anxiety, and treating moderate to severe pain.

Price: $7.50 for 28 grams, $15.00 for 56 grams, $30.00 for 112 grams, $55.00 for 224 grams, or $105.00 for 448 grams, or $300.00 for 1,000 grams/1 kilogram

Get Kratom White Thai Kratom Powder

White Thai kratom is a popular strain selection for kratom users looking for intense stimulation. Many people compare the effects of this strain to drinking several cups of coffee but without the racing mind and jitters. Some users also report boosted focus and concentration when taking White Thai, so it’s a standard choice for students and professionals looking to improve their performance and mental acuity.

Price: $10.00 for 28 grams, $20.00 for 56 grams, $40.00 for 112 grams, $76.00 for 224 grams, or $150.00 for 448 grams, or $290.00 for 1,000 grams/1 kilogram

Get Kratom White Gold Extract Powder

The White Gold extract from Get Kratom is like a hyped-up version of a potent white strain. It provides intense stimulation for most users and increases focus, attention, and concentration. Many people use this strain in place of coffee for a more balanced energy boost. It’s unclear just how concentrated this extract is, but the product page states that 0.5 grams to 1 gram will be “highly active.”

Price: $20.00 for 2 grams, $37.00 for 4 grams, $73.00 for 8 grams, $140.00 for 16 grams, or $260.00 for 30 grams

Get Kratom Ultra Enhanced Red Kali

The Ultra Enhanced Red Kali is much like the standard Red Kali strain, but the extract is far more potent and requires minimal dosing for the desired effects. This enhanced powder relieves moderate to severe pain and provides intense relaxation and sedation in larger doses. Many people find that this strain is a natural relaxant and can help ease stress and anxiety.

Price: $16.00 for 2 grams, $32.00 for 4 grams, $64.00 for 8 grams, $128.00 for 16 grams, or $240.00 for 30 grams

Ultra Enhanced Indo is ideal for providing clean, balanced energy and a severe boost to mood. Some users report feeling mild euphoria when taking this strain, and most state that it’s great for relieving anxiety and reducing stress. The product page is unclear about the precise potency, but it does state that a 1-gram dose should provide the desired effects.

Price: $20.50 for 2 grams, $38.50 for 4 grams, $68.00 for 8 grams, $131.00 for 16 grams, or $234.00 for 30 grams

Is Get Kratom Legit?

Get Kratom is a legitimate company, so it’s not a scam; you’ll receive any product you pay for. That said, the quality of the product you receive isn’t verifiable, so many customers shy away from ordering from this vendor.

Before purchasing products from this vendor, there are a few red flags to consider. Get Kratom states on its website that it tests its products for potency, but the lab results aren’t available, and there’s no mention of testing for purity to rule out contaminants. Additionally, the American Kratom Association does not certify Get Kratom.

The company’s history is also a concern for some, as Get Kratom’s quality has dipped in the past, and it seems clear that it used questionable business tactics to promote its products on Reddit.

More recent reviews are generally positive, but there is also no customer satisfaction guarantee and no returns available for opened products. Overall, it’s probably best to buy your kratom products elsewhere.

What You Can Expect to Pay

What Other Customers Say About This Brand

This supplier has received mixed reviews from the kratom community. Many reviews in the past from when the company’s quality dipped were overwhelmingly negative, but more recent ones have been generally positive.

One user said, “Get Kratom is darn good. Super fast shipping, which I appreciate greatly. Not anyways the cheapest, but the quality of everything I’ve ordered has been great. I’ve tried the green Indo, white Kali, and Maeng Da and haven’t had any issues yet.”

Another user lamented the cost-prohibitive nature of this brand while acknowledging its value, writing, “He definitely is not the cheapest, but his strains have been really good so far. Also ships super fast, like 2-3 hours after the order is placed from my experience.”

Elsewhere, a reviewer said that GK was their top choice, adding, “GK’s red indo is my current fave. It’s relaxing but not too sedating, and I rarely, if ever feel any sort of comedown…I like that I can buy 7 bucks worth at a time, plus 10% off with the code REDDIT10.

“My last experience with GK, though, is what really sold me. I said in the ‘notes’ of my order that I would like to try the green vein Thai and asked for a sample… I got my shipment in, and GK had included a whole ounce of the gvt. It really made my day, and was imo excellent customer service.”

Shipping & Returns

You can choose from a host of shipping options, such as Priority, Express Mail, FedEx Overnight, FedEx 2Day, and FedEx Express Saver. If you know what’s good for you, you’ll upgrade to a FedEx shipping method to avoid the delays plaguing the US Postal Service.

This seller accepts returns on any product that has not been tampered with. You have thirty days to return an item if you want to receive a refund. Products must be sealed to qualify for a refund. That means there is no satisfaction guarantee, and you’ll be stuck with a product if you aren’t satisfied.

Final Thoughts: Expensive With Questionable Quality

After many missteps and negative consumer feedback, Get Kratom has solidified its status again as a somewhat reputable vendor. That said, there are some major downsides to buying from this company.

First, it’s not accredited by the American Kratom Association (AKA). It also states that it puts its products through testing for potency, but the lab results aren’t available for customers to confirm. There is also no mention of testing for contaminants.

Although the recent history of customer service is good, there is a limited number of strain options and no customer satisfaction guarantee or return policy for opened items. As such, many users look for alternative vendors to source their kratom.
