Liza’s Best Botanicals is doing their best to fulfill the needs of people looking for quality kratom products. A lot of work can still be done, to be honest. Yet,  it is obvious that they’re managing things as best they can given the situation.

Many are saying Liza takes care of them well, and the products are of good quality. However, we’re concerned about the lack of AKA-GMP certification and lab test availability on the website.

How Much Will It Cost You to Buy at Liza’s Best Botanicals?

$5.99-$92.00 for standard kratom powder. If you choose enhanced strains, it will be $17.00-$520.00 range.

Packaging options will range from an ounce to kilo. You have the quarter, half, and kilo options split in different ways. This is a very convenient option if you want to order a variety of strains and still get that bulk discount price, which we highly commend.

Their pricing is a bit more expensive than some other kratom vendors on the market. Although, their pricing is around average, and not overpriced in our opinion.

We wish there was more of a description of their Enhanced kratom or blends. This will let us know what enhancements were made to validate the extra cost.

Not sure if you’re willing to go all in with their price when there are other more affordable ones? If you want to experiment first with their strain line-up, Liza’s Best Botanicals has a Sampler Pack. It costs $21.00-$40.00, and you can choose between 4 or 8 strains, which is really cool.

Pros
  • Top-notch strains
  • Outstanding customer service
  • Good customer feedback
  • Fast delivery
  • Offers split kilos and great sampler options.
Cons
  • Website’s not updated or maintained very well.
  • Confusing website navigation
  • Little information on where and how their kratom is grown or processed
  • Outdated reviews on the website
  • Lack of product descriptions or details
  • No mention of lab testing
  • Not AKA-GMP certified
  • Not the most affordable brand; pricing is about average

What’s the Buzz about Liza’s Best Botanicals?

With the nice comments she’s getting, you’ll almost feel like she’s your sister from another mother. She takes care of her customers, and many say her service is exceptional.

The strains are top-notch and of high quality. They clearly give the effect they’re designed to provide, and there’s no questioning the freshness, based on the positive feedback in the community.

Does Liza’s Best Botanicals Meet Quality Standards?

Kratom is not federally regulated, and the FDA has yet to give it a green light. However, the American Kratom Association (AKA) was created to protect the rights of American kratom consumers. They support measures to ensure the kratom you take is produced according to the GMP rules and regulated by implementing laws to punish adulteration and prevent the sale of kratom to minors.

Unfortunately, there’s no mention of AKA-GMP certification on Liza’s Best Botanicals website or the AKA. Our last bone to pick is the availability of lab testing, as there is no mention of it on their website.

Just a few notes on what to look for in a lab test:

  • Batch number (should match the ones in your order)
  • Date test was done (should be less than 1 year, and ideally younger than 6 months old)
  • Potency – 1.1%-1.9% mitragynine is the ideal range (low to high)
  • Pathogens – zero E. coli, Salmonella, and Staphylococcus aureus detected.
  • Heavy Metals – arsenic < 2 PPM;  cadmium < 0.85 PPM, mercury < 0.41 PPM; lead < 1.2 PPM.
  • Pesticide testing is recommended as well and if the vendor tests for this, this is great!

Any Strains or Blends to Focus On?

There are some popular products to note in Liza’s Best Botanicals line-up.

Happy Go Lucky

Liza makes this blend herself, created with one white strain and two green ones. We recognize this strain for its potential mood-boosting qualities – as the name suggests. If you feel like a cloud is raining on your parade, and no amount of self-motivation could perk you up… you might want to try this one. There’s something about this blend that may help you put racing thoughts to a halt and help you become more present and content.

Taking the Happy Go Lucky any time of the day is okay. It may lift you up but may not necessarily energize you. Sure, you may get a subtle energy boost to go through your day, but it likely won’t keep you up at night or motivate you like some of the other strains.

Of course, with your physical state so relaxed, you may find you have more mental capacity to do your tasks. Mundane tasks may no longer bum you out and you may be more focused to get stuff done.

Red Headed Step Child

A lot of people may find this as their best friend. We find that it’s a good strain when intense physical soothing is desired.

The first kick from this blend may give you mental clarity with noticeable physical relaxation. When you take a bit more, there may be a desire to act like a limp noodle on the couch. This is a good choice if you want something to take your mind off things and to just kick your feet up and relax.

Super Green Elephant

Now, if the Red Headed Step Child is for relaxing, this one is to kick-start your day. What’s great about this one is it can potentially boost physical and mental alertness without that potential jittery effect. It certainly had us going when we needed to be up and about with work around the office.

This strain has an interesting mix of mood and energy-boosting qualities with an added dash of calm and is one of our top favs from Liza’s.

It’s a great blend to have when you’ve had a long day of laborious work- gives you the potential energy and mental focus you need, too, to finish your tasks.

Is Liza’s Best Botanicals Worth a Try?

No one can discount the personal efforts Liza puts out for her customers. Given her situation, she’s out there looking out for herself and others. Putting that aside, it is our opinion that some things do need attention, however overall, these guys are a solid brand.
