In Sense Botanicals Review: Are They Worth the Price?

In Sense Botanicals has many kratom products that can support almost any kratom-related goal. Whether you’re a beginner or a veteran, you will likely find what you need here. Unfortunately, they’re not AKA-GMP certified, which can be a turn off to some.

Right off the bat, we can see that the website is clean and organized. The layout is straightforward, and loading isn’t an issue.

When visiting their website, you can easily see the menu on top where you can shop for kratom, kava, and other botanicals. Despite the images and clutter, the website loads fast – everything loads almost instantly.

Just one thing we noticed: they don’t have an FAQ or questions and answers page. They mention on the website that if you have questions, go to the FAQ section. Unfortunately, they either put the wrong link or haven’t set it up yet.

What Kratom Products Should You Look At?

Aside from the usual kratom powder and capsules, In Sense Botanicals has the following exotic kratom products:

Enhanced Kratom

This is kratom that’s 2X stronger than regular powder. Aside from being made with high-quality, lab-tested premium kratom, it’s enhanced with mitragynine extract.

It comes in 2 forms: powder and capsules, made with 100% pure plantation-grown kratom and kratom extract. 1 gram of powder contains about 10mg 45% mitragynine extract. This means that 4.5mg of pure mitragynine is added for every gram of powder. The capsules are huge, by the way. They are 000 size, so they’re much larger than the standard size 0 capsule most vendors stock.

Kratom Liquid

They also carry the new Ekspress liquid kratom made with full-spectrum kratom. It’s a combination of mitragynine, along with other kratom alkaloids. Some of the kratom alkaloids include Paynantheine, Speciogynine, and Peciocilitine. This bottle claims to have 40-50 alkaloids, making it highly potent and strong.

You can get it sugar-free or with natural caffeine. It’s made with water-soluble full-spectrum kratom extract, which contains the full range of natural alkaloids. Water, glycerin, and citric acid are also added to this product.

This is not really an In Sense Botanicals product but one from their sister company, Gold Leaf Botanicals.

It comes in a 30mL (1oz) bottle that, depending on your tolerance, can give you 3 servings or more. The bottle contains approximately 110mg of mitragynine. If you divide the bottle into 3 servings, that’s 3.6mg/mL or 36.5 mg of MIT per serving.

High-Potency Kratom

If you are a fan of extracts, you have 4 choices at their store:

  • High-Potency Green (MIT 1.52) – $2.87-$125.87 / 6g-1000g
  • High-Potency Green (MIT 1.76) – $2.87-$125.87 / 6g-1000g
  • High-Potency Red (MIT 1.5) – $2.15-$94.40 / 6g-1000g
  • High-Potency White (MIT 1.59) – $2.87-$125.87 / 6g-1000g

These are made from ultra-fine ground 100% mitragyna speciosa leaf.

What We Noticed Aside from Kratom

It seems that In Sense Botanicals is making true to their name by selling multiple botanicals.

They now carry Kava, a herbal remedy taken from the roots of Piper methysticum plant growing in the Pacific Islands. They use the legendary Polynesian Gold™ Full Spectrum Kavalactone CO2 Kava extract for their kava capsules. This brand is highly recognized as the King of Kava extracts due to its potency.

In Sense Botanical’s kava extract is manufactured under strict ISO standards, and is Kosher and Halal Certified.

You only get premium, beverage-grade Vanuatu Borogu lateral roots with this product. These are hand-selected to ensure higher concentrations of kavalactones. To further preserve the potency, the roots are air-dried in a controlled environment instead of outdoors.

How Fast Can Your Order Arrive?

No one can dispute how fast In Sense Botanicals ships their customers’ orders. Processing is fast, and you get your orders to your door quickly. They’re also easy to contact by email of phone if you want updates on your order.

How do Their Prices Compare?

We have to admit. In Sense Botanicals has steep pricing compared to some of the other well-known brands. The powder ranges from $2.87-$125.87 for 6g-1000g packages. The capsules will cost you $3.49-$74.99 for 2ct-100ct packs.

Sleepy Head Kratom, on the other hand, offers kratom powder at $13.00-$75.00 for 100g-1000g packs. Depending on the variety, capsules go for $17.00-$20.00 for 80ct capsules.

Dragon’s Den Kratom pricing, on the other hand, is $8.99-$27.99 for 50g-250g of kratom powder. They have the cheapest capsules at $12.99 for a 100ct pack.

Is the Price Worth It?

When it comes to the quality of the kratom products, it’s not clear if the price is worth paying for. But then, one thing we noted is the quality of their kratom, which is certainly in the higher grade.

Also, customer care is top-notch. They’re quick to respond to a concern or problem. They’ll even call you to follow up if you got your order or if there’s something off about your payment.

What if You Want to Save on Your Purchase?

There are two ways for you to save. One is by subscribing to their newsletter. New customers get a 15% off coupon code sent to their inbox. Of course, you will also get some special offers occasionally, during holidays and promotions which is pretty cool if you are an avid kratom user.

Another is through your points. Every dollar you spend gives you up to 5 points. For example, 6g of High-Potency White (MIT 1.59) costs $2.87, which will give you 14 points. Now, let’s say you want to purchase Gold Leaf Botanicals Green Maeng Da kratom capsules. A 300-ct bottle will cost you $49.98, which will give you 210 points.

How much points can you redeem? We found that 2,000 points will give you a $10 off coupon. 4,000 points will give you a $20 off coupon. It may seem like a long way, but if you’re a frequent, loyal customer, we could see how your purchases can add up and give you savings.

E-check payments also give you 5% discount. Just choose “eCheck” on the payment options, and you’ll get your discount.

What About Payment Options?

The good news is that In Sense Botanicals allows you to pay in different ways.

One way is, of course, by the traditional credit and debit cards. You can use your Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express cards to pay. You must choose the “Credit and Debit Cards Payment – powered by WAAVE” option.

Have a different way to pay? Complete your order, then choose “Alternative Payments” on the checkout screen. You’ll see links for Venmo, CashApp, ApplePay, and Paypal Payments. Click on your preferred payment method, and you’ll get instructions on how to proceed with payment.

But wait, there’s no option for Bitcoin! Yes, we saw that too. If this is your payment options, there’s an “Order Notes” box located under the Zip Code field. You can state there that you wish to pay using Bitcoin, and they will email you your payment instructions.

One thing to note: regardless of the alternative payment method you choose, keep an eye out for payment requests on your app.

About In Sense Botanicals

In Sense Botanicals was born through the dream of making kratom accessible for everyone. Rob’s journey started when they discovered how amazing Mitragyna Speciosa could be. Through their research, they found that in their area in California, people were paying too much.

They educated themselves, met the right people, and did everything to ensure they provided quality and affordability.
