Red Devil Kratom Review: Wicked Extracts At Evil Prices

Despite being among the most expensive kratom vendors in the entire international marketplace, Red Devil Kratom remains popular enough to stay in business.

Is this due to their extensive product selection and consistency or their nonsensical and gimmicky marketing prose? We aren’t sure. Supposedly the company provides top-quality goods — for the most part.

Of course, you can get better-quality kratom from many other vendors. However, they carry a few unique blends and herbal supplements that are hard to find elsewhere.

Red Devil Kratom

2.5 / 5
Ranked 124 out of 190 vendors

Red Devil Kratom is a little questionable — they’re not certified by the American Kratom Association (AKA), and they don’t seem to put their products through third-party testing. It seems unreal that they would charge as much as they do.

That said, they do provide some extracts and blends that pack a punch. If you have the extra cash to spend, it could be worth your time. Be careful, though;  they don’t offer any refunds or exchanges.

About the Company

Red Devil Kratom is based out of Brooklyn, New York. Like many American kratom vendors, you can see right away that they’re making a significant effort to match the competition.

They offer kratom (Mitragyna speciosa) leaf and extracts, herbal supplements, and CBD. Their goal, in their words, is to provide a herbal approach that tackles all areas of mental and physical health and offers organic, pesticide-free products that they promise are cruelty-free.

However, instead of providing honest and accurate information, they word everything with flair, probably to make up for the lack of information they provide.

It’s quite extreme to say that to “achieve and maintain a clear mind and an active lifestyle,” you will “need to add some kratom into your life.”

Red Devil is no stranger to peppering their text with fancy words to catch the readers’ attention at the expense of…. Well, at the expense of really saying anything at all. “We… go above and beyond to maintain the biochemical equilibrium with in the Kratom strains.” What? Providing proof of potency and purity would be better.

All marketing hype aside, it seems they do sell quality products. Their extracts are hard-hitting and generally receive favorable reviews.

Pros
  • Organic
  • Offers extracts, crushed leaf, and enhanced products
  • Offers an assortment of herbal products
Cons
  • Not AKA-certified
  • No mention of testing
  • No returns
  • Only takes E-checks
  • Limited strain selection
  • Very expensive

Red Devil Product Reviews

Red Devil Kratom sells more than just kratom, and even among their kratom products, there is a great variety.

They offer a variety of premium powdered kratom leaf products of all the main colors (red, green, white, and yellow) and a selection of “King Kratom Strains.” These are allegedly stronger than both premium and enhanced strains with “double the alkaloids found in regular strains of kratom.”

They also offer a variety of crushed leaf kratom, great for making tea and using in bulk, as well as a selection of super and ultra-enhanced kratom extracts for those heavy hitters. Ultra-enhanced Indo is commonly cited as being the strongest kratom product available.

You can also buy several herbal supplements that complement kratom amazingly well, such as shilajit and cat’s claw.

1. Kratom Leaf Powder

Kratom leaf powder is the most common kratom that we see outside of Southeast Asia. Kratom leaves are picked from the tree, dried, and then crushed into a fine powder. This powder can be eaten, mixed into a drink, and even taken sublingually.

Red Devil Green Maeng Da

Green Maeng Da is a classic kratom strain, and Red Devil delivers a high-quality one that comes in swinging. Expect the first couple of hours to be motivating and energizing.

Once this energy begins to wear off, you’ll start to feel relaxed. Users unfamiliar with kratom may find that the residual stimulation prevents them from sleeping for up to 6 hours after their last dose, though. Experienced users generally don’t need to worry about this.

On Red Devil, you can buy this strain for anywhere from $26 (for an ounce) to $116 (for 8 ounces). Prices are high, and quality is comparable to other vendors.

Red Devil Kratom Red Thai

As it stands, Red Thai kratom from Red Devil costs a similar price as any of their other standard strains, which is a lot. Starting at $18 for an ounce and reaching $118 for eight ounces, Red Devil remains committed to charging some of the highest fees on the kratom market.

Red Devil Kratom Signature Blend

The Red Devil Kratom Signature Blend is a great example of lowbrow kratom marketing at its finest.

While the company reassures us that we’ll enjoy the “incredible benefits of the impeccable and meticulously processed blends” that are made with a “secret recipe not available anywhere in the whole universe,” it leaves us wanting for anything useful.

Don’t misunderstand — their Signature Blend is a pretty nice product. It’s good for relieving pain without causing extreme sedation and relaxation. This helps people overcome one of the most significant barriers for pain patients interested in kratom.

But at the end of the day, it’s still really expensive (the cheapest option is 100 grams for $65), and the company doesn’t really tell us what the blend consists of, aside from the fact that it’s “mixed with red.”

Other Strains Offered By Red Devil

One of the reasons that Red Devil has retained its good standing despite its outrageous prices is the huge variability of its products.

Here’s a quick list of their other strains of premium kratom powder.

Green Strains

Green kratom strains are great for somebody who wants to experience the full range of kratom’s effects in a single dose. Green strains tend to start out energizing before fading into relaxation.

Here are the green strains that Red Devil offers:

Except for the Green Borneo Kratom,  these products range from $26 for an ounce to $116 for 8 ounces.

Red Strains

Red kratom is the best option for people who require relief. Whether you’re struggling with anxiety, depression, or physical pain, a nice red vein strain will help you wash away some of those discomforts.

Because they’re so pleasant and powerful, red strains are often more habit-forming than other strains. Red kratom contains the highest concentration of 7-hydroxymitragynine, the highly sedating and opioid-like alkaloid.

The red strains offered by Red Devil include:

These strains are available at $26/oz, increasing in price up to 8 oz for $116, except for the Red Maeng Da Kratom, which is available for $55/100 grams with prices increasing up to $118.

White Strains

White kratom strains will amp you up, for sure. It’s the most stimulating kratom that provides next to nothing on the relaxation front. These are for people working busy jobs or interested in maximizing their productivity due to the intense energy rush

Red Devil has the following white strains:

These white strains start at $26/oz and can be purchased in up to 8oz packages for $116.

Yellow Strains

Yellow kratom strains are not always made the same way. There is some debate regarding the methods used to produce a yellow strain.

One theory is that yellow strains are generally a mixture of red and white strains, allowing the product to produce both stimulation and pain relief. The effects are closest in comparison to a green strain.

Some vendors also suggest that yellow strains emerge due to different post-harvesting procedures, such as slightly fermenting a white vein batch of leaves.

Currently, Red Devil offers the following yellow strains:

These yellow blends start at $18/oz and go up to $118 for 8 oz.

Blended Strains

Red Devil Kratom features two proprietary blends on their site. The first, their Signature Blend, which we described in detail above. The second product is their Green Goblin Signature Blend.

Their Green Goblin blend counterbalances the powerfully sedating nature of their Signature Red Devil blend.

According to the product’s page, the blend is made by first taking kratom powder “extracted from different green veins,” which is then mixed in a “unique way that amplifies its effects.”

Sounds like a lot of hogwash? Definitely; however, customers almost universally acknowledge that the blend is good quality. It’s just a shame that the company has to describe it with such vague terms.

Red Devil King Strains

“There are regular kratom strains, then there are premium kratom strains with enhanced benefits,” Red Devil Kratom says on their King Strain page, “and then there are King Kratom Strains.”

Again, what does this mean? It’s almost concerning since many unethical vendors add chemicals to boost their kratom’s effects. Red Devil doesn’t provide test results for its kratom, so who knows what’s actually in their kratom.

These strains are exclusively made by Red Devil Kratom and designed to provide long-lasting benefits. They allegedly contain double the number of alkaloids found in regular kratom.

They swear that you will “experience high levels of kratom effects with tons of benefits that are also very long-lasting.” Maybe the kratom is so strong it makes you forget how to write English correctly.

There are quite a wide variety of King strains. How, exactly, they’re made is anybody’s guess. Red Devil isn’t very transparent about their recipes or their production methods. Most likely, the King strains are just regular kratom strains with added alkaloid extracts.

At the time of this writing, all of the King strains are on sale for the same price as the company’s regular strains. We could not find a quote for their price for the rest of the year.  Fortunately, their sales seem to extend for ages, so you might still only be paying $26-$116 by the time you read this.

King strains to choose from include:

  • King Amazon Green
  • King Bali
  • King Bentuangie
  • King Chocolate
  • King Green
  • King Green Maeng Da
  • King Green Malay
  • King Red Elephant
  • King Red
  • King Red Maeng Da
  • King Super Maeng Da
  • King White
  • King White Maeng Da
  • King Yellow

2. Kratom Tinctures

Kratom tinctures are an alcohol-based extract that contains the alkaloid content of the whole kratom leaf. Red Devil doesn’t have any kratom tinctures, but they have a few CBD oils.

Tinctures and oils are great for when you’re on the go. It’s much easier to take a dropper full of a kratom tincture than it is to try and brew a cup of tea or scarf down a toss and wash while you’re stuck in traffic or on the way to a spontaneous meeting.

Red Devil’s CBD oil comes in two sizes:

  • A 500 mg CBD for a whopping $65
  • A 1000 mg CBD for a whopping $110

There’s no real explanation for why their CBD is so expensive, but it certainly seems consistent with the prices on the rest of the site. The best kratom vendors might have premium prices, but they prove their quality and ingredients.

3. Kratom Extracts

One of the reasons that Red Devil Kratom might still be thriving is because of its exact selection. Quality kratom extracts are hard to find. When you do find a good extract, though, it’s a real game-changer.

Caution: if you’ve never used kratom extracts before, be careful. Not only do they carry an increased risk of side effects and possibly even the danger of overdose, but they’re also certainly a quick way to get yourself addicted to kratom. Extracts will significantly increase your tolerance to the point where you can’t even enjoy regular kratom leaf anymore.

Red Devil carries the following extracts:

  • F5 Super Enhanced Blend: Contains 6 grams of kratom resin mixed into King Kratom. This apparently makes it the strongest kratom mix on the market, at least according to Red Devil. The regular price is $89/gram, but the product has been on sale for ages at $50/gram.
  • Kratom Extract, x70, 1 gram: Theoretically, x70 extracts should contain as many alkaloids and active compounds as you would in 70 times the amount of plant matter. In practice, though, this rarely works well with kratom. If it did, then a quarter gram of this stuff would be pretty seriously dangerous, especially to someone with no tolerance. The regular price is $13/gram.
  • Kratom Resins 70x: These little, powerful rocks of resin look an awful lot like heroin, and if they’re really 70x as potent as kratom, they might be as strong as it. These just sound like a habit-forming risk in a nutshell. $10/gram.
  • UEI Ultra Enhanced Indo: Green. UEI has been hailed as the ultimate kratom extract for some time, and although some of Red Devil’s products sound like they’re a bit stronger, you really can’t go wrong with this classic product. $89.00 a gram at regular price, but seems to be on perma-sale for $40.00/gram.
  • UEI Ultra Enhanced Indo: White. Same as Green UEI except made with white.
  • UEI Ultra Enhanced Indo: Red. Same as the previous two products but made with red.

What You Can Expect To Pay

Red Devil’s products cost significantly more than most other vendors but really don’t give a reason for it.

The price makes sense for some of their products, such as their extracts. Their 70x kratom extract is allegedly made from 70 kilos of kratom. If that were true (which is doubtful), then paying $13 per gram is a good price.

But for their standard kratom leaf, charging $18 an ounce is pretty ridiculous. Some hard-to-find kratom strains, like Green Horn and Thai Maeng Da, aren’t that rare and go for $26 an ounce.

Their herbal products are highly refined, especially their cat’s claw. They use 20 kilos of raw cat’s claw powder to produce a highly potent extract that they sell for $28 per ounce.

Final Thoughts: A High Price To Pay

Considering there aren’t any verifiable reviews for this company and their products are massively overpriced, it seems like a bit of a gamble to buy from them.

On top of that, the user feedback on sites like Reddit is pretty appalling. Anything positive written about Red Devil Kratom seems to be written by a paid reviewer.

If you look deep enough, a cohesive picture emerges: they are a real company, and their extracts might be worth the money. But most of their profit comes from feeding off those that don’t know better.
