Krabot Kratom Review: What You Need to Know

Krabot Kratom is a popular online kratom vendor. However, while the selection is impressive and the quality is generally pretty good, the company lacks several things that make for a reputable brand.

Our main caveats with this brand are their lack of third-party testing (or any testing, for that matter) and the fact that this company isn’t accredited with the American Kratom Association (AKA).

We generally recommend people only order from companies that have both of these criteria met in order to avoid using potentially contaminated or dangerous products.

If you’re looking for a quick recommendation, check out brands like Kona Kratom or VIP Kratom instead.

Krabot Kratom

3 / 5
Ranked 94 out of 190 vendors

About the Company

Krabot Kratom is based in Chino Hills, California, and is headed by Robert Murray, the CEO.

Mr. Murray has limited work experience from his past listed online, but he started Krabot more than seven years ago, which should stand as sufficient history in the industry. The company currently has three employees.

Krabot Kratom’s website appears to be professional, but there is no About Us page or mission statement listed anywhere. A lack of declared direction and purpose isn’t always a red flag, but it does leave customers wondering if the company is in the booming kratom industry just for the profits.

There is minimal information available online about the company or the CEO, but Krabot does have generally positive reviews with just a handful of complaints filed with the Better Business Bureau (BBB).

The website states that the products are tested via third-party labs for microbial infections and heavy metals, which does mean that Krabot’s products will tend to be safe to consume. However, the lab results aren’t posted online, so customers cannot verify this information for themselves. Additionally, Krabot does not have lab test to prove potency, so it’s impossible to say if the kratom you purchase from them will have the desired effects.

There is an excellent selection of products, most of which are reasonably priced according to industry averages.

Pros
  • Great product selection
  • Fast shipping
  • Many positive reviews
Cons
  • Not AKA certified
  • Doesn’t post lab results
  • Pricey
  • Minimal information about the company

Krabot Kratom Product Reviews

Krabot sells a large variety of kratom powders and capsules, with red, green, and white-vein strains being well-represented in both categories. It sets itself apart from the competition by also offering kratom tea, flavored kratom, edibles, infused products, extracts, and kratom tablets.

1. Kratom Leaf Powder

Most kratom users take kratom powder, which is made by crushing up dried leaves from the Mitragyna speciosa (kratom) tree.

The loose powder makes dosing kratom straightforward and precise, although many people strongly dislike the taste, even when mixed with flavored liquids. The powder has a long shelf life and is the most cost-effective way to buy kratom.

Krabot Kratom Green Maeng Da Kratom

Green Maeng Da kratom is one of the most popular strains overall and Krabot’s best-selling variety. It’s prized for its balanced effects, which include stimulation, mild pain relief, and mild euphoria for most users. Krabot’s Green Maeng Da doesn’t have effects listed or test results posted, so it’s unclear how potent the strain is. It comes in five sizes to make testing it out or stocking up a breeze.

Price: $14.99 for 50 grams, $23.99 for 100 grams, $39.99 for 250 grams, $76.99 for 500 grams, or $149.99 for 1,000 grams/1 kilogram

Krabot Kratom White Maeng Da Kratom

All color varieties of Maeng Da kratom are popular, making it no surprise that White Maeng Da is another of Krabot’s most popular items. This strain is known to produce intense stimulation and offer some nootropic benefits, including improved concentration and focus. Krabot doesn’t have lab results posted for this kratom, so customers cannot confirm before buying how potent this variety is.

Price: $9.95 for 50 grams, $15.95 for 100 grams, $29.95 for 250 grams, $41.95 for 500 grams, or $74.95 for 1,000 grams/1 kilogram

Krabot Kratom Red Bali Kratom

The Red Bali kratom from Krabot is the company’s most frequently purchased red strain. Red Bali is used by many people for sedation, to treat insomnia, to reduce anxiety, and to relieve moderate to severe pain.

Most Red Bali has a high alkaloid concentration, although the potency of the Bali from Krabot is unknown given that there aren’t lab results available. Krabot does note on the product page that this strain, in particular, is tested for potency.

Price: $9.95 for 50 grams, $15.95 for 100 grams, $29.95 for 250 grams, $41.95 for 500 grams, or $74.95 for 1,000 grams/1 kilogram.

Other Strains Offered By Krabot Kratom

Krabot excels in offering a wide variety of kratom strains, including red vein, green vein, and white vein varieties.

The company sells standard kratom powders in five different quantities: $9.95 for 50 grams, $15.95 for 100 grams, $29.95 for 250 grams, $41.95 for 500 grams, or $74.95 for 1,000 grams/1 kilogram. It offers infused kratom powders for $32.99 for 100 grams.

Finally, Krabot sells kratom powder blends with pricing as follows: $16.99 for 50 grams, $29.99 for 100 grams, $44.99 for 250 grams, $79.99 for 500 grams, or $154.99 for 1,000 grams.

2. Kratom Capsules

Kratom capsules are small gel caps that contain kratom powder. Most users find gel caps easier to take, as they help avoid the undesirable flavor of kratom. However, they are pre-dosed, so it’s more challenging to get a precise dose when taking capsules.

Krabot Kratom Green Maeng Da Kratom Capsules

With the popularity of Green Maeng Da, it’s no surprise that these are Krabot’s best-selling capsules. Although Krabot’s product page doesn’t mention expected effects, this strain is most often used for mild pain relief, balanced stimulation, or for anxiety relief. These capsules contain 1 gram of powder, which is higher than the industry standard of 0.5 grams. The higher volume makes them more challenging to get precise doses that aren’t in 1-gram increments.

Price: $14.99 for 30 capsules, $27.99 for 60 capsules, or $74.99 for 180 capsules

Krabot Morning Blend Kratom Capsules

While some people shop for individual strains, one of Krabot’s best-selling capsules is its own morning blend. The product page notes that it is designed to provide smooth stimulation and offers some nootropic effects as well, including a bump in concentration and focus. The capsules are more expensive than the single-strain options. There are no third-party lab results available and no mention of which strains are included in the blend.

Price: $17.99 for 30 capsules, $33.99 for 60 capsules, or $82.99 for 180 capsules

Krabot Kratom Bali Gold Kratom Capsules

Gold Bali kratom is a less-popular strain than many red, green, and white varieties, but it’s prized by many users for its high alkaloid content. The potency of these capsules from Krabot cannot be confirmed, as there are no third-party lab results available. However, the product description notes that they are powerful and tend to provide relaxation, pain relief, and anxiety relief for users without being too sedative.

Price: $14.99 for 30 capsules, $27.99 for 60 capsules, or $74.99 for 180 capsules.

Other Kratom Capsules Offered by Krabot Kratom

Krabot maintains an excellent selection of kratom capsules. Most options include 1,000 mg of kratom powder and sell according to the same pricing model: $14.99 for 30 capsules, $27.99 for 60 capsules, or $74.99 for 180 capsules. The blends it offers also include 1,000 mg of powder but sell for a bit more: $17.99 for 30 capsules, $33.99 for 60 capsules, or $82.99 for 180 capsules.

Finally, Krabot also sells infused kratom capsules that come in just one quantity — 60 capsules — and sell for $34.99.

Below are all of the strains Krabot sells in capsule form.

A) 1,000 mg Capsules
  • Bali Gold Kratom Capsules
  • Green Bali Kratom Capsules
  • Green Jongkong Kratom Capsules

  • White Maeng Da Kratom Capsules (Infused with caffeine)
  • White Maeng Da Kratom Capsules (Infused with CBD)
  • White Maeng Da Kratom Capsules (Infused with mushroom complex)

3. Kratom Extracts

Kratom extracts are concentrated forms of the alkaloids that give kratom its psychoactive effects and pharmacological benefits, including pain relief. Extracts most often come in liquid form and tend to activate more quickly in the body. Kratom extracts sometimes have a less bitter taste and making taking kratom more enjoyable.

Krabot Kratom 150 mg Kratom Shot

Krabot’s best-selling kratom extract is the unflavored kratom shot, which contains 150 mg (three servings) of Krabot’s alkaloid blend. The product page states that the blend includes 75% mitragynine, which is one of the more prevalent alkaloids in kratom.

The shot sells for $15.99, meaning each service costs around $5.33. This is far higher than you’d pay using powder or capsules, but it might be worth it if you’re looking to avoid kratom’s bitter taste.

Price: $15.99 for 150 mg

Krabot Kratom 150 mg Kratom Shot — Chocolate

Krabot also sells its kratom extract in chocolate flavor, further serving to mask the bitterness of the kratom contained within it.

This bottle also has three servings and is said to contain a potent alkaloid mixture made mostly of mitragynine.

Price: $15.99 for 150 mg

Is Krabot Kratom Legit?

Krabot Kratom is a popular online vendor with an amazing selection of products, but there are some places where the company falls a bit short on quality assurance.

The site states that it tests its powders for microbial infections and mold spores. While the lab results aren’t available for customers, the likelihood is that the powders are safe. However, there is no mention on the site that the products are tested for potency, so you won’t be able to confirm if you’re getting what you pay for.

Krabot isn’t certified by the American Kratom Association (AKA), which serves to ensure that products from its members are safe and potent with its own testing. This isn’t always a red flag but combined with a lack of test results from Krabot itself; it doesn’t instill confidence in buyers.

With that being said, Krabot has excellent customer service, and it accepts returns of unopened packages. It doesn’t accept open-package returns, but it does state on its website that it will do everything in its power to ensure you’re satisfied if you do open the package. It’s unclear what is meant by this.

Overall, Krabot is most certainly not a scam company just looking to take your money, and you will very likely not get poor-quality kratom from this source.

What You Can Expect To Pay From Krabot Kratom

Krabot’s products are reasonably priced and even tend toward the cheaper side as far as online kratom vendors go. Most powders, capsules, and extracts are a bit more affordable than you’ll find from many competitors.

Krabot doesn’t offer deals on its products, but it does have reduced pricing when you buy larger quantities. Bulk pricing can be an issue for beginners because it takes some time to find a strain that works, and committing to a kilogram of a random strain isn’t advisable.

If you don’t know what strain you like yet, Krabot offers sample packs that include 10 strains — 100 grams each — that total a kilogram and bulk pricing. It also has these sample packs with each strain in 28-gram bags, 50-gram bags, and 200-gram bags for the most savings.

There are similar sample packs available for the powder blends and kratom capsules as well.

Finally, Krabot has a rewards system that saves you money the more you shop on its site. Repeat customers can enjoy regular discounts by using accrued points.

Accepted Payment Options

Krabot offers numerous payment options to make checkout straightforward and secure.

First, it accepts all major credit cards and debit cards, including MasterCard, Visa, Discover, and American Express. It also accepts ACH deposits directly from your bank account. You can also pay with Zelle (a payment service linked to most major banks) or by money order.

The final option is to pay with cryptocurrency for safety, security, and discreet payment. You can purchase Bitcoin from payment services like PayPal and Venmo to use on Krabot’s website, or you can buy them from cryptocurrency exchanges like Robinhood, Kucoin, and Coinbase. Krabot offers a 10% discount on your entire order when you pay with cryptocurrency.

What Other Customers Say About This Brand

Krabot has been in business for over seven years, and in that time, it has accrued a large number of reviews on third-party kratom sites and forums like Reddit.com.

Most of the reviews on forums like Reddit are positive and include nothing but praise for Krabot’s customer service. Many of the users on these sites also state that the potency was good and they got the desired effects. These reviews include information on taking powders and capsules, although there are limited reports of users taking the extracts or infused products.

Some reports even mention that kratom from Krabot gives the user the “wobbles,” which is typically attributed to rather strong kratom strains or sources. Although Krabot doesn’t provide lab tests for potency, the online reviews suggest that the product contains adequate volumes of alkaloids.

Shipping & Returns

Krabot notes that most orders are processed and shipped the same day for orders placed before 5 pm. Shipping times vary depending on volume and the shipment option you choose, but you will likely receive your package within 2-4 business days. Shipments can be tracked once you receive your shipment confirmation.

Krabot only ships to the United States, and it doesn’t send packages to areas where kratom is illegal. The checkout form doesn’t allow you to put in an address in these areas, so Krabot clearly abides by the law.

Krabot accepts returns on any order that hasn’t yet been opened, but you’ll have to pay for return shipping plus a 10% restocking fee. You won’t be able to return opened products for a refund, but the company does state it will go above and beyond to ensure you’re satisfied.

Final Thoughts: A Solid Kratom Company With Some Minor Flaws

Overall, Krabot is a good source for safe kratom that offers a huge selection of strains and a variety of products. It tests its products for microbial infections and mold spores, so you’re bound to get a product that is safe for consumption. However, there is no mention of testing for potency, so you won’t be able to confirm if the product you buy has a decent percentage of the active alkaloids. No lab results are posted on the company’s site.

Krabot also isn’t accredited by the American Kratom Association (AKA), which is another minor downside. This isn’t always a red flag, but accreditation certainly would instill a bit more confidence in buyers.

Krabot has reasonable pricing that is lower than many competitors, and it sells a huge range of powders, capsules, infused products, extracts, edibles, and even tea. Online reviews are mostly positive for powders and capsules but are lacking for its other options.

Shipping is fairly quick, with most packages getting shipped out the same day and arriving within two to four days. Returns are accepted for unopened packages only, but customer service states that it will try to ensure you’re satisfied even if you have opened your package.

Krabot is generally considered a reputable brand, and if you’re willing to give them a try, two of the recommended products are the Green Maeng Da kratom capsules and the Krabot Kratom Morning Blend kratom powder.
